Premier Anna Bligh says federal Labor's decision to lift a ban on uranium exports to India has no bearing on Queensland's stance on uranium mining.
Labor's national conference on Sunday backed Prime Minister Julia Gillard's plan to remove the party's ban on uranium exports to India.
The vote at the national conference has no bearing on Queensland's decision to ban uranium mining, Ms Bligh said.
"We've got more than enough on our plate with (the) tripling of our coal activity over the next 10 to 15 years and the opening up of the new gas industry," she told reporters in Brisbane.
